Viper Iron aims play a key role in further reducing the global steel industry's environmental footprint.
We go above and beyond when it comes to environmental compliance. Our high standards are developed to provide transparency, honesty and innovative thinking when it comes to environmental matters. We have partnered with SRGE Global to reduce our carbon footprint and help us achieve net zero with all of our exploration and mining activities.
We continue to seek lower carbon solutions across our business and are actively pursuing off-grid solar power generation and battery storage power solutions for our remote operations.
Viper Iron's mining activies are moving towards being carbon neutral, addressing the root causes to get us to net zero.
We are also researching micro-grid technology to power our operations. Future installation of renewable solar energy could, potentially, be captured within the battery energy storage system and discharged as required into the micro-grid.
Viper Iron will continue to review our Roadmap to Net Zero Emissions to remain agile and responsive to technological and commercial advancements better enabling our role in the transition to a low-carbon economy. We assess our performance against this roadmap and report our progress on an annual basis.
