We offer various exploration services for mining companies. Viper Iron offers its clients professional guidance on all stages of mineral exploration, from grass roots exploration to target definition, drilling, sampling and geological modelling.
Viper Iron's team can undertake any aspect of the mineral exploration process. We have a highly flexible approach and are willing just to provide support and advice as necessary or alternatively to augment the client’s exploration team with our own professional staff and to train and advise them and work along side them, as required.
Being proficient in the complete range of exploration techniques, include highly experienced geophysical teams proficient in both survey and interpretation, we have the experience of virtually all types of mineral deposits and in working in all climates and in extremely isolated areas.
Exploration Services
Less than one per cent of exploration projects typically progress to establishing a mine.
Exploration for minerals may involve:
- Mapping.
- Surveying - Arial & Surface.
- Testing Water.
- Soil Samples.
- 3D Modelling.
- Drilling.
You Should Know
Initial exploration activities, such as mapping, will start over a large area and then target smaller and smaller areas.
The aim is to see if mineralisation is at levels large enough to be commercially extracted.
